This and other needle sets from my favorite needle-pusher, knit picks, would surely make me a happy camper :D
I have long since discovered that in order to minimize strain on my wrists and under-arms while knitting, that I needed to use wooden-needles. I really should learn to knit in more than one way – left/right, English/Continental/Norwegian.
I just bought a set of fixed circular needles 2 mm, 60 cm, for WIP glasses-har project :) And they have made the tiny double-knitting so much more fun and satisfying. What I really like about knit picks’ knitting needles is that they are so light, they warm up easily ind your hand (because they are wood), they are very smooth – but not too smoothes. The yarn travels lightly and easily on them, without any strain on your hands for keeping the stitches on the needles :)
All in all, go for wood and go for Knit Picks! They might be slightly pricier than other needles, but they are worth it!
