And then they were done
(wachout – picture heavy post)

The socks were knit from my sefcollored Sorbet-yarn.
I really enjoy Grumperinas Jaywalker-Pattern, it is so easy to knit and turns out very pretty. It is enough to wow most non-knitters
Another great thing about this projekt is, that it is the first projekt in a long time that I have knit completely for me! And it feels great!
I wonder how well the color will hold out during wash. I don’t think I will try mashine washing them ![]()

Here I am, the happy knitter! It is so nice finaly knitting again! What is even cooler is, that since I am working on my UFO’s/WIP’s I am finishing things super fast
My second pair of jaywalker socks
Allmost finished. That is the great thing about UFO’s they are such a quick knit.
To take a brief walk down memory lane, here are my first pair of Jaywalkers that I made for my sister ![]()

Today’s cute oddity is “Winged Heart Tattoo” by annypurls

I just wanted to share a picture that I Stumbled-Upon ![]()

Oh yeah and I have finished something, but because it is going to be a gift, I can’t share it just yet!
But I am super thrilled!
Another (exiting) event from this week, is my new HOT hair
It is perhaps slightly to dark, but I like it. And so does Rasmus. Talking of which, I met his family for the first time yeaterday. Some of them anyway – I met his Dad, his Dads girlfriend and his dad’s parents. It went really well and we all had a nice time.
Before Going to Frederikssund (totaly out into the country) to visit Rasmus Dad, I stumbled upon this lovely and very cheap Merino Yarn and I just couldn’t help myself. I bought it from a shop I normally don’t like (they smoke and provide really bad service), but it turns out that it is a small treasury of Noro-yarn!! So I might have to return there and treat myself to some Noro-silk and make myself Brooklyntweed inspired Noro-scarf.
All there is left to do is wish everione a good weekend
I have become dreadfully tired of studying at KUA (The faculty of Humanities at the University of Copenhagen)! Perhaps because I have been going to school and studying since i was 6 and now 17 years later it has become a bit tiresome
So for a change of pace and scenery I decided to take the rest of my BA as an internship in some sort of cultural institution. The Idea was that I wanted to see if I could make use of my academic skills in the “real world” and to get a break from all the books.
This is were I ended up www.mik.dk :
Mik is a news portal for all the museums in Copenhagen and the surrounding area. Super interesting and super relevant. So even though it is going to be a very active and stress-full fall (sinse i also still work at Gladsaxe Ny Teater), it should also be very interesting and challenging – in a good way.
Tonight I finally got some knitting done and it felt great! Today has actually been quite an active day. Starting out at Mik from 9-16, then going to an emergency meeting at the dorm, then helping my væsen (a new guy at the dorm, who I am assigned to help get settled in) with his first cleaning, then running with 17 other alumni and the finally knitting!
After a small years break I’m back at working at my Odessa hat
Hopefully it will be done soon. Though it is slightly flawed (my inner perfectionist screams) due to the small break.

So the summer is over, the air is crisp and the leaves are starting to turn brown. I has been a great summer for me! I have gotten a very nice Boyfriend, been to the Roskilde Festival, but really been knitting at all
Now the holliday is over and I have started my internship at www.mik.dk
I have been really tired of books for a while now and I needed a change of pace, so this fall I’ll be working full time a mik, the only academic work I have to do is an internship-report in december describing the whole proces and looking at it academic-reflecting-point of wiev. But I will tell you all about it in a later post
first some footage from my summer:

The Flamin Lips playing i Tivoli

Me and Daniel dancing on stage during The Flamin Lips concert dressed as teletubbies

and last but not least, Ron Mueck’s “Boy” at AROS
It has been an awsome summer
